What we collect
When you book a sail or join as a crew member, we collect your name and email address. If you pay by card, payment is handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We also collect the names and emails of any guests you add to your bookings, for safety and liability purposes.
How we use it
We use your information to manage bookings, send confirmation and reminder emails, and occasionally let crew members know when new sail dates are available. We don't use your data for advertising. We don't sell it. We don't share it with anyone except Stripe (for payments) and Resend (for emails), both of which are bound by their own privacy policies.
Emails
By booking a sail or joining the crew, you'll receive transactional emails related to your booking — confirmations, reminders, and updates. Crew members also receive notifications when new sail dates are added. You can cancel your membership at any time to stop receiving crew emails. Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database provider. We retain booking information for as long as necessary to operate the club and comply with any legal obligations.
Your rights
You can request to see, update, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing noah@baysailclub.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Bay Sail Club uses only essential session cookies required for login. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
